As an academic practice, every year Bharat Institutions is conducting a Management meet “Aarohan”, to draw out the student’s potential, to explore and face new challenges and opportunities with array of management activities.
Aarohan, is a Mega Management Meet which includes various events to help the students to showcase their talents, hone their acumen and strengthen their ingenuity which could eventually help them to shape themselves as management professionals par excellence. It will provide participants a platform to explore their area of interest and exhibit their skills and win a lot of exciting prizes. This event focuses on array of activities, ranging from formal events to informal events along with paper presentations.
Aarohan calls upon budding Managers to be on the forefront to participate and grandstand on this Mega occasion.
The festive occasion of Aarohan is open for Management students. The Participant teams are required to carry an authentication letter from their Heads of the Institutions. The panel of Judges will evaluate the competitions and their decision will be final. The winners selected after several rounds are rewarded with Certificates and gift hampers. The winners of the events are honoured by Shri Venu Gopal Reddy Garu, Chairman, Bharat Institutions.
The Commerce and Management meet was introduced in the college to provide a better understanding of the opted subjects to the students. This is intended to create an awareness of the recent developments in the fields of Commerce and Management. The program enlightens the students and keeps them updated on the current trends especially about the know-how, for which, speakers with domain expertise are invited to share their practical insights. The first meet launched in 1999.
Bharat Degree College for Women incepted its multi lingual-multi literary meet, Bhashalahari in 1998. It has been designed to impart awareness of language and literature of Indian sub continent, which is said to be “Linguistic Area”. By knowing the spirit of literature the students will become better humans and knowledge of literature, shape the personality of students in a holistic way. It is the tradition of college for he last 11 years to organize Bhashalahari in grand manner by literally giants of dozens of different Indian languages such as Telugu, Hindu, Urdu, and Sanskrit and also from English.
The college welcomed the dawn of the year 2005 by launching the cultural meet Sanskriti. The meet aims at exposing the students to the beauty and splendor of Indian Art and Culture. The Indian Art forms have throughout the ages fascinated the world. But the grim reality is that they are losing their due recognition in India. This meet is a humble attempt to cultivate a taste for fine arts among the students by introducing them to personalities from the front rank in the field of fine Arts. It also aims at making students culturally conscious in the era of Information and visual culture.
To welcome the new students and create friendly environment among the freshers and seniors, the cultural committee members organize fresher’s day on a grand scale.
Both indoor and outdoor games are conducted regularly for the overall growth of the students. The college also conducts various sporting events at a mega level once a year on Sports Day.
It’s a day that culminates all events academic, cultural and sports at Bharat Degree & PG College for women. Prizes are distributed to the winners of academics and co-curricular activities. A special award for the best outgoing student of the year is given.
