College recruits efficient and well-skilled teaching staff who are dedicated and young at mind and are committed to train young brains. Faculties, as mentors, take over the responsibility of overall development of every individual student to face challenges of global era.
Bharat conducts Industrial visits for the students to give them a practical exposure to the industries and their work culture. Students are taken to the industries and their work culture. Students are taken to organizations like T-Hub, NIN, CCMB, CDFD, ICRISAT, ICICI, ALEAP etc. Such learning opportunities promote excellence and stimulate a culture of life-long learning.
Both indoor and outdoor games are conducted regularly for the overall growth of the students. The college also conducts various sporting events at a mega level once a year on Sports Day.
To supplement the classroom teaching, the college encourages several other activities like extension lectures by subject experts from various academic institutes. Such constant interactions with resourceful personalities provide the students an enriched knowledge of their subjects and its future prospects.
With a teaching methodology that aims at training the students better, Bharat Degree College for Women is armed to meet the necessities of the Globalized world. In order to make them aware of the new challenges of teaching and to execute their job in an efficient and effective manner, an annual Faculty Development Programme is conducted for the Faculty of the college by eminent scholars from various fields addressing different issues concerning teaching.
The college paves the path for the students to take up careers suited to their skills and interests. Many organizations, both private and public are invited to conduct Campus Interviews for the final year students. The placement cell of our college is proud to place the students in reputed organizations like Wipro, I-gate, Infosys, Value Labs, Convergent, TCS etc.
To enable the students to get involved in all activities of the college, student elections are held for the II and III year students. These leaders in turn encourage the students to a take active part in all the college activities. Such activities develop leadership qualities among the student community.
The students are monitored throughout the academic year with several internal assessment methods. Monthly tests are conducted regularly. Apart from this, half yearly and pre-final tests are also conducted. Assignments and project works also form a regular feature of the academic practice. The teaching system focuses on the student needs where they are given scope and are encouraged through revision / special coaching classes. Paper presentations, Project work, Seminars etc., sharpen their skills. These continuous assessments aim at monitoring progress of students and enhancing their level of confidence before appearing for their main examinations.
Bharat encourages its students to participate in various creative activities and assist the students in their overall development- Physical, Social, Emotional as well as Intellectual through the following Student Services:
As a part of several attempts made by the college in promoting education and in encouraging meritorious students, the college provides scholarships, apart from the Government Merit Scholarship and Scholarships for BC, SC/ST.
Scholarships: For I Year Students it is given to those who get 95% or above in all three optional. If they maintain the percentage in the subsequent years, the scholarship will be continued.
Shields: Rolling Shields are presented to the students with highest marks in each discipline.
Gold Medals: Topper of the commerce final year gets Sri C.N. BHEEMA REDDY GOLD MEDAL.
